It was all on the menu at Medway Baptist Church’s 5th Free Wild Game Dinner on Saturday (January 30).

Local school administrators have put their pens to paper in support of Ohio’s bid for the sizeable and highly competitive federal education grants to be awarded later this year.   The Tecumseh Local School District has signed off to participate in the Race to the Top (RTTT) federal grant program which is part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

The old saying that defense wins basketball games was in full force on Saturday, as the Bethel Lady Bees accomplished a rare feat during their 37-9 rout of Arcanum in a Cross Country Conference game.

Sgt. Ralph Underwood Is New Police Administrator

At Tuesday's (January 19) New Carlisle City Council meeting, Lt. Don Lucas announced that there had been some realignment within the Clark County Sheriff's Office and that, as a result of that realighment, Sgt. Ralph Underwood is the City's new Police Administrator.

 Most basketball teams subscribe to a theory. They hope to win the close games against the top teams, and you take care of business early against the teams you should beat, and put them away.
The Bethel Bees bought into that idea on Friday, jumping to a double-figure halftime lead, and rolled to an easy 51-26 win over Ansonia Friday night at the Beehive.

Enon resident and Honey Creek Presbyterian Church pastor Shelley Wiley hopes to be contributing her small gift of love to Haiti earthquake victims very soon. She is planning to make a trip to the devastated Carribbean country in February.

As Tecumseh went into their Central Buckeye Conference girls basketball crossover game with Greenon, coach Danielle Thomas knew one thing for certain.  If the Lady Arrows were going to defeat the Knights, they would have to contain the high-flying senior Allie Turner.
