At the August 24, 2016 meeting of the Clark County Commissioners, the commissioners approved a rezoning request from Ron Boling of Boling Investments to rezone a 11.98 acre lot of Lake Road in Bethel Township from A-1 Domestic Agriculture to R-4 :S: for a Multiple Family Residence.

According to Boling, he plans to build 2 to 3 family residences at the location. The homes are not intended to be rental properties, but single family condominiums. The commissioners specified with their approval that the prosperities adhere to the proposed homes as submitted in the request.

In other business, the commissioners approve an increase to the contract with Double Z Construction Company for $6, 4465.23 to adjust for quantities for the Derr Road Construction Project.

They also approved an amendment to the contract with Northwoods Consulting Partners for the Department of Job and Family Services to account for changes in the for IRS regulations.

For the Utilities Department, the commissioners approve a contract up to $21,00 for easement brush removal and cleaning with McCullough Tree Service.

In addition, they appointed Richard Flax and Gene Baumgardner to the Western Central Ohio Port Authority Board.

The next meeting of the Clark County Commissioners is scheduled for August 31, 2016 at 8:30a.m. in the commissioners conference room.
