Clark County Contract Work the week of July 31, 2017
Willowdale Road Bridge No. 253 Bridge Replacement – Road Closure
The bridge replacement on Willowdale Road continues between Crescent Hill Road and Snyder Domer Road. This location remains closed tentatively through Friday, August 4th.
Derr Road Improvement Project
The work on Derr Road is substantially complete. Crews will be working along the corridor through the week and residents could encounter stopped or slow traffic.
Leffel Lane and Bird Road Resurfacing Project
Crews will be milling and paving on Leffel Lane continuing onto Bird Road from Burnett Road to State Route 41. Traffic will be reduced to 1-lane to two-direction traffic managed by flaggers. Residents could encounter stopped or slow traffic.
Clark County Surface Treatment
Starting Monday, July 31st and continuing tentatively through Friday, August 18th, crews will be applying surface treatment to various county roads in western Clark County. Traffic will be reduced to 1-lane to two-direction traffic managed by flaggers. Residents could encounter stopped or slow traffic.
The roads being surfaced treated are: Ballentine Pike, Knollwood Road, Liberty Road, North Hampton Road, Detrick Jordan Pike, Folk Ream Road, Stott Road, Ansbaugh Road, Rebert Pike, Lower Valley Pike, Osborn Road, Haddix Road, Short Spangler Road, Old Lower Valley Pike, Sparrow Road, Petre Road, and Lawrenceville Drive.
Clark County Pavement Markings
Within the next two weeks, crews will be begin pavement marking on county roads in eastern Clark County. A secondary crew will also be painting for school zones, railroad markings, stop bars, etc. Residents could encounter stopped or slow traffic.
Ayres Pike Bridge No. 25 Bridge Replacement – Upcoming Road Closure
Work will begin Monday, August 7th and continue through Friday, September 15th. The closure is on Ayres Pike between Fields Road and Studebaker Road.
