The Park Layne Wee Arrows played their first game of the 2015 season against Little Mad River Valley League rival Northwestern Warriors. The first game on Sunday was between the Warrior Pee Wees and the Park Layne Apache squad. The game was hotly contested throughout. Although the Wee Arrows eventually fell to the Warriors, the highlight of the game was the performance of Abraham Younts (pictured with his coaches) who turned in a 230 yard,4 touchdown effort for the home team. Final Score: Warriors 33 - Wee Arrows 24.

The second game played was between the Varsity squads of both teams.The Wee Arrows were down early, when Wee Arrows team captain Hunter Cantrell went down with a season ending leg injury. The short handed Arrows could not catch up to the Warriors and ended up getting shut out in their home opener.

Final Score: Warriors 40 - Wee Arrows 0.

The third match up was played between the Warriors and Wee Arrows Junior Varsity Squads. The Northwestern Warriors continued their ground assault, aided by two Wee Arrows turnovers before halftime, the Warriors lead could not be overcome. Final Score: Warriors 47 - Wee Arrows 6.
