Eben Named October’s Rotary Student

Allen Eben was honored at the New Carlisle Rotary meeting on Tuesday, October 27th, as the Student of the Month for October.
Eben, son of John and Nancy Eben, is a senior at Tecumseh currently enrolled French 3, Advanced English, Honors Physics, AP Calculus, and Current Events.  He is a member of National Honor Society and the high school’s wrestling and tennis teams.  Special recognitions include the Principal’s List, Believe in Ohio state participant, Division I wrestling district qualifier, and first team All-Conference CBC tennis.
After graduation, Eben plans to attend a four-year college with a major in mechanical engineering.  He also wishes to acknowledge Mr. Scott Herbert as an influential teacher and coach.

Alltop Is Tecumseh’s Citizen of the Month

Tecumseh Senior Brodie Alltop has been named the New Carlisle Rotary’s Citizen of the Month for October.
Alltop is the son of Mike and Monica Lee.  He is currently enlisted as a corpsman in the United States Navy.  Alltop has been involved in AFJROTC volunteering at the Air Force Marathon, the VA Hospital, and Honor Flight.
His academic classes include Senior Math, Government, Theater Arts, Business Law, Current Events, Sports Literature, and Creative Writing.  Extra-curricular involvement during high school has included football, track, cross-country, and swimming.
After pursuing a career in the Navy, Alltop plans to study nursing.
