Katie Dixon Hohl, Tecumseh High School class of 2005, is this week’s nominee of the Arrow Alumni feature.

As a student at Tecumseh High School, Hohl was the recipient of many academic honors. She served as the president of National Honor Society and class secretary of Student Council. She was a member of the Science Beyond the Classroom, Child Nutrition, and Astronomy Clubs, Muse Machine, Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), and the Arrowhead newspaper staff. Hohl played basketball (captain) and soccer and ran track.

After graduating from Wright State University in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management, Hohl accepted a marketing position with LexisNexis in Dayton. She then earned an MBA with a concentration in project management from WSU in 2011. Currently employed by Luxottica Retail North America, Hohl is responsible for managing the strategy and execution of marketing initiatives for a global leader in the design, manufacture, and distribution of fashion, luxury, and sports eyewear.

Hohl and her husband Mike (THS 2005) are the parents of a son, Cameron Michael Hohl, born in April of 2016. The Hohl family resides in New Carlisle. Katie is an avid reader who enjoys playing indoor soccer and sand volleyball. She and Mike are sports fanatics rooting on the Buckeyes, Bengals, Reds, and Cavaliers.

“The New Carlisle community and Tecumseh still mean so much to me,” said Hohl. “I credit my teachers from kindergarten through high school for their part in shaping the success I’ve had so far.”
