Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine will provide opening remarks during tomorrow’s Family and Youth Initiatives Drug Symposium at Tecumseh High School in New Carlisle.

During the event, Attorney General DeWine will unveil a new video produced by the Attorney General’s Office focusing on Cole Smoot, a Tecumseh High School student who died in 2011 of an accidental overdose after taking a methadone pill he received from a friend. The video will be shown throughout the state as part of outreach efforts by the Attorney General’s Office to educate communities on the dangers of prescription drug misuse.
