HustedOhio Secretary of State Jon Husted today certified the results of the three statewide ballot issues considered by voters during the General Election held on November 3, 2015. In total, 3,255,537 ballots were cast out of the state’s 7,529,667 registered voters, leading to a voter turnout rate of 43.2 percent.

The results in the statewide races are now available at Vote.Ohio.gov. The local issue results, the provisional and absentee ballot reports and the precinct-by-precinct reports will be made available in the coming weeks.

Creates a bipartisan, public process for drawing legislative districts
Votes in Favor: 2,126,822 Votes Against: 849,043
State Issue 2: Approved by Voters
Anti-monopoly amendment; protects the initiative process from being used for personal economic benefit
Votes in Favor: 1,621,329 Votes Against: 1,537,261
State Issue 3: Rejected by Voters
Would have granted a monopoly for the commercial production and sale of marijuana for recreational and medicinal purposes
Votes in Favor: 1,166,692 Votes Against: 2,042,902
