Although the dreary weather noticeably curbed attendance, the Bethel Township Firefighters’ Association conducted their annual Mother’s Day Plant Sale last Saturday, April 30.

The proceeds from the plant sale will go toward the Firefighters’ Association for items needed around the fire station, and likely to the association’s charitable community involvement.

Township Fiscal Officer Melanie Cochran said they sold 33 hanging flower baskets as well as several tomato plants.
