Now is the time to come in from the cold and warm up to the music of The Wright State University Collegiate Chorale. This exceptional group of young adults is the University’s primary choral ensemble. The conductor, Mr. Hank Dahlman, Wright State University Professor, was recently granted the highest rank and honor held by only three members of the faculty at any one time. This outstanding Chorale travels annually throughout the United States and Europe. The Church of the Brethren Music on Main Street is privileged and excited to have this wonderful Chorale perform on March 25, 2017, 7:00 p.m. at the Church of the Brethren, 219 N. Main Street in New Carlisle.

The Collegiate Chorale will perform a variety selected from many styles and genres, including Renaissance to the 21st century, folk music and popular entertainment. These talented young people have been featured with the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra in Ohio to critical acclaim, performing works such as Britten’s War Requiem, Stravinsky’s Mass, and Orff’s Carmina Burana. The Bernstein Mass and numerous Bach motets and cantatas.

Mark your calendar for March 25, 2017, 7:00 p.m. at the Church of the Brethren, 219 N. Main Street. This concert is free and open to the public, however during intermission a “free will offering” will be accepted as a donation to the performers. Refreshments will be served during intermission for a nominal cost. Bring family and friends for an evening of entertainment!
