"We heard the walls shaking, the roof buckled and then it was gone," said Brittany Craig, manager of the Family Dollar store. "We were in the men's restroom with our heads covered."

Craig said there were three people in the store at the time the store hit and all three escaped injury.

Bethel Township Fire Chief Jacob King reported that a 3" gas main had ruptured and was leaking. The immediate area was evacuated until the leak could be stopped.

Heavy pipes that were along Rt. 235 for upcoming construction were hurled throughout the area. Several were thrown through the windows of Victory Motorcycles, causing extensive damage to the building. Others were found behind McDonald's.

Gas pumps at Park Layne Sunoco were knocked over. Diesel fuel was reported spewing from one pump until the power went out.

Route 235 southbound has been closed at Dille Rd.

Clark County Sheriff Deborah Burchett said that every available deputy is either assisting the Fire Department or controlling traffic.
