A two-car collision on Rt. 235 tied up rush hour traffic Friday afternoon.

The accident occurred around 4:30 p.m. in front of Meadowview Growers.

According to the Springfield Post of the Ohio Highway Patrol, a southbound minivan went left of center and struck a northbound Dodge pickup truck.

Both vehicles were spun around and the minivan landed in the ditch.

The minivan driver complained of a minor injury to his hand, but there were no other injuries.

He was charged with going left of center.

Rt. 235 was reduced to one lane for less than a half hour.
