“We are absolutely thrilled that it passed” said Bethel Township Trustee Nancy Brown of the fire levy that was supported by voters with 1,203 yes and 987 voting no on increased funding for the fire department.

Brown went on to say “we want to give our personnel a raise and update equipment”.  The department has not been able to compete with other departments and private sector medical transport services.  Personnel in the department have not seen an increase in three years according to information provided by Chief Jacob King prior to the election.
