A Friday evening crash on Rt. 235 in front of Rite Aid sent two people to area hospitals.
According to initial reports, northbound traffic had either slowed or stopped. A Ford Pickup truck did not stop in time and struck a white Pontiac, pushing the Pontiac into a red Toyota. All three vehicles suffered major damage.
The two who were transported suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Ford pickup was expected to be cited for assured clear distance. He showed no signs of impairment.
The incident is under investigation by the Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Bethel Township and New Carlisle Medics assisted.
