90, of New Carlisle, passed away January 26, 2015 at Forest Glen Nursing home. He was born June 29 1924, in Clark County, OH to Iva Fern Frederick (Jones) and Charles Edward Jones.  Paul was a WWII veteran and a member of Enon VFW post.  Paul was in Poland and thought the Poland people were friendly and liked Americans. Paul said he was about 10 feet away from a concentration camp and watched as Germans stripped Jews (including children) and put them in a pit.  Later in the war Paul was reassigned to regiment 329 Company E in, Badington Hope Austria.   Paul retired from Brinks and was employed by the Clark County Sherriff department and served in Lawrenceville and North Hampton police.  He was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen (Katie) Louise Coffman (Jones), daughter Karen Sue Jones (Fraley), his parents and all of his siblings; Charles Edward Jones, Jr. Opal May Jones (Sharp), Helen Louise Jones (Starnes), George Kenneth Jones, Orma C. Jean Jones, and Doris Pauline Jones (McWhorter).   Paul is survived by his two sons, David A.& Barbara Jones of , Gary & Patsy Jones of Phoneton, Ohio; eight grandchildren, many great grandchildren; special grandson, Richard (Rick) Jones & wife Crystal of .  The Jones family would like to give a special thank you to Forest Glen for all the care they gave Paul.  Visitation was 10-12 PM Monday, February 2, 2015 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio with funeral services at 12 noon in the funeral home.  Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.  Expressions of sympathy may be sent to www.trostelchapman.com
