Scarborough, Sandra Kay age 68 of Miamisburg passed unexpectedly Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Kettering Medical Center.

She was born July 31, 1947 in Huntington, WV to the late George and Ruth Mae (Amos) Edens. In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her parents-in-law, Alyce (James) Pullin and Kenneth E. Scarborough , Sr.; brother-in-law, Jeffery Scarborough. She is survived by her loving husband, Ken Scarborough; children, Darlene Renee (Raliegh) Clark of Colorado, Matthew Wayne Yelton of Dayton, Michael C. Johnson of Miamisburg and Marcus L. (Kimberly) Johnson of Dayton (twins); grandchildren, Joshua, Zachary, Riley, Xavier and Alexander; sister-in-law, Lori (Robert) Laudermilk of West Carrolton; Niece and Nephew, Megan (Billie) Sester and Marc (Maria Terry) Hill; cousin Sheila Gibson Furderer and her precious pups, Mitzy, Buddy, and Peanut as well as other extended family.

Sandra was a 1965 graduate of New Carlisle Tecumseh High School, New Carlisle and pursued business administration at Wright State University Class of 1973. She was employed for many years by the Ohio Education Association, Kettering Medical Center, Department of Emergency Medicine and most recently worked as the best part-time sales person for Costco.

Sandra served as a volunteer and assistant Chaplain for Sycamore Hospital, Miamisburg and was a member of Parkview United Methodist Church. She was a devoted Christian and enjoyed traveling and social gatherings. She will be remembered as the hostess with the mostest, for always living life to the fullest as well as her generosity. The family will received friends during visitation from 10:00am - 1:00 pm Monday, July 25, 2016 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg. Funeral services were immediately follow at 1:00 pm officiated by Pastor Hugh Howard. New Carlisle Cemetery will serve as her final resting place.
