92, of Springfield, Ohio passed away January 10, 2017. She was born February 1, 1924 in Southampton, New York the daughter of the late Frank & Mary (Graham) Griffin.

She is survived by three grandchildren, Lauren Rath of Cridersville, Ohio, Rebecca Tellez of Lima, Ohio, James (Hayli) Rath of Smiths Station, Alabama; three great grandchildren, Trista Snider, Morgan Rath & Keghan Hampton; step daughters, Margie (Dennis) Gordon of Hendersonville, North Carolina, Deborah Bennett of Metuchen, New Jersey; two stepsons, Robert (Karen) Bennett, & William Dunn of Southhampton, New York; step grandchildren, Cody (Morgan) Gordon, Andrew (Rachel) Gordon all of Hendersonville, North Carolina, Brian Bennett of Southampton, New York, Roy (Amy) Bennett of Palmyra, Pennsylvania; several step great grandchildren; a son-in-law, Norman Rath of Lima, Ohio; four nephews, John (Carolee) Griffin of Southampton, New York, Donald (May) Griffin of Westhampton Beach, New York, Graham (Peggy) Griffin of Bridgehampton, New York, & Drew (Dee) Griffin of Stuart, Florida; a niece, Mary (James) Griffin Bast of Orleans, Massachusettes; good friends, George & Rebecca Reinhart of Centerville, Ohio; other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two husbands, Adam J. Cook & Robert W. Bennett; and a daughter, Beverly Cook Rath; three brothers & sisters-in-law, Donald (Alice) Griffin, Lloyd (Edna) Griffin & Albert (Marjorie) Griffin.

Visitation will be 9:30 to 10:30 AM Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Honey Creek Presbyterian Church, 212 W. Jefferson St., New Carlisle, Ohio 45344 with a memorial service at 10:30 AM; Rev. Shelley Wiley will officiate.

Burial will follow at the New Carlisle Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Honey Creek Presbyterian Church or the American Cancer Society. Arrangements by the Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home, New Carlisle, Ohio.
