Roque Named Rotary Citizen of the Month

CTC/THS Senior Ana Roque was honored at the November 24th Rotary Meeting as November’s Rotary Citizen of the Month.

Roque, daughter of Ernesto Rogue and Elvia Rivera, says her parents inspire her to keep moving forward. “They sacrificed their lives in Mexico to bring the family to America because they wanted so much more. I do everything for my parents.”

At Tecumseh, Roque was a member of the Women’s Chorus, a Muse Machine captain, Student Council representative, and student athletic trainer for football, wrestling, and basketball.

She is a Skills USA officer and tour guide at CTC where she is enrolled in Body Systems and Functions, Emergency Medical Technician, Health Science, and Pre-Calculus. Her courses at Clark State include Anatomy and Physiology, English III, and Survival Spanish.
