Tecumseh split a pair of non-conference baseball games against Xenia, as the Arrows defeated the Buccs 4-3 in the opener, before falling 11-6 in the nightcap.

In the opener, Kyle McDonald came up big with the walk-off hit for the Arrows to give Tecumseh the win.

Nicholas Yeary added a double for the Arrows, while Hunter Hensley added a pair of hits. Both teams recorded six hits in the game.

Caleb Ricks won his first game of the season on the mound for the Arrows.

In game two, Yeary took the loss for the Arrows. McDonald was 2-4 in the game for Tecumseh, while Ricks was also 2-3, Logan Donovan added two runs batted in and Ryan Kilgore added a hit.

*Also last week, the Arrows lost a tough CBC matchup, as they fell behind the Kenton Ridge Cougars by six runs heading to their half of the fifth inning, and their comeback fell short losing to the Cougars 7-5.

Tecumseh scored first to take a 1-0 lead after the first inning, only to watch as Kenton Ridge scored three runs in the fourth and four more in the fifth, to take a 7-1 lead.

The Arrows fought back with four runs in the sixth inning, but could not get the win.

Hensley and Keaton Mohler each hit a two-run homerun for the Arrows in the sixth, and Yeary was 2-3.

Dague took the loss for the Arrows.

*The Arrows came back the following night and suffered a tough 17-2 loss to the same Cougars team, as Kenton Ridge concluded the sweep. The Cougars had 13 hits and the Arrows had highlights from Reid Hale with two hits and a run scored, Blais Hale with two hits, and a double and RBI for Anthony Steele.

*Tecumseh also lost to Shawnee 3-1 last week, despite only giving up three hits in the loss. Hensley was 2-3, Blais Hale added a double and Steele was 2-3. The Arrows also lost another crossover game in a busy week, losing to Indian Lake 7-3.

Tecumseh Softball- Tecumseh traveled to Fairborn for their annual four-team tournament, and the Arrows came home victorious after winning both of their games.

They opened play with a 12-1 win over Springfield, as Brooke Barger led the way for Tecumseh with four hits and three RBIs, Jessica Wilson added two hits with two RBIs with a double, Jenny Wright was 2-3 with an RBI and two walks, Ashley Fite added five hits and three RBIs, and Chrissy Moyer was 2-4 with a double.

Mackenzie Drews added two hits and two RBIs for the Arrows, as Fite earned the win on the mound with six innings and seven strikeouts.

In the finals, the Arrows dominated Middletown Fenwick 22-0. Wilson had one hit but four walks and an RBI for the Arrows, Fite was 3-4 with three runs batted in, Micaela Pearson was 1-2 with a sacrifice fly, Moyer added two RBIs with a hit and a walk, while Nina Smith was 3-4 with 5 RBIs. Duff added two RBIs.

Wilson pitched a complete game, striking out seven.

*The Arrows also lost to Kenton Ridge 4-2 in league play, as Wilson pitched a complete game and took the loss. She also added a pair of hits, while Smith added 2 RBIs and Drews added two hits.

In their second game last week, Kenton Ridge controlled the Arrows 15-2 to sweep the season series.
