Evan Maxwell and Keaton Mohler look to help the Arrows to a successful season.

Tecumseh won their season opening game on Saturday by defeating Northeastern 11-1 in a six inning contest.

Reid Hale earned the win with eight strikeouts, while Hunter Hensley had a double, Stryker added four runs batted in, and McFarland was 2-3 with a three-run homerun for the Arrows.

Tecumseh scored four times in both the second and third innings to take an 8-0 lead and never looked back.

Tecumseh Softball- The Arrows split a doubleheader with Northeastern on Saturday. They lost 7-4 in the opener as Ashley Fite went 4-4 with a homerun for Tecumseh, Logan Markstrom was 2-4 with a double and two RBIs, Anna Dewitt was 2-3 with a double, Nina Smith was 2-4 and Zoey Dean 2-3.

In the nightcap, the Arrows defeated the Jets 11-10 as Dean was 1-4, Fite was 3-3 with 2 doubles and a homerun, Mackenzie Drews was 2-3 with a homerun and three RBIs. Smith added three RBIs including a homerun, and DeWitt was 2-3 with a homerun.
