Imagine being able to enjoy all the pleasures of hosting a party, but without having to  deal with the drudgery of prep work.
That dream can now be a reality as Pamela Hurtt, owner of Grammy’s Collectibles at 6821 State Route 40 in Brandt, is offering her store space for parties.

“To have a party, you don’t have to do any of the cleaning or worry about the menu. You can relax with the rest of your guests and not have any of the stress of being a hostess,” said Hurtt.
Hurtt will take care of everything except inviting the guests. Refreshments will be provided and the items to be served can be discussed.
Specialty cakes may also be brought in. In addition, Hurtt says to expect some hidden “surprises,” waiting to be found.
As a token of appreciation for choosing Grammy’s as a party location, the hostess will receive 20 percent off items in the store and further discounts can be earned based on the amount spent by the guests.
There is no rental fee for the facility, the only cost is the merchandise that’s purchased.
“Lots of customers would tell me that they needed to tell friends or family about the store, so I thought that having parties would be a great way to get people into the shop and spread awareness,” said Hurtt.

From bridal parties, birthdays, or a ‘girls night out,’ Grammy’s aims to accomodate all party occasions.
Open since 2006, Grammy’s prides itself on being “a unique primitive collectible shop.”
“The best part is, all you have to do is come. I’ll take care of everything else,” said Hurtt.
A minimum of at least five guests is required for a party, and Hurtt says she will find a way to accommodate any number of guests. She requests two weeks notice prior to the party.
