Friday, June 11

6:53 AM

– to 100 block of Gordon Rd. for report of a missing juvenile.  Woman stated that her grandson snuck out of his room overnight.  She believes him to be with his adult girlfriend.  Deputies went to the girlfriend’s house and she said that she had not spoken with him since before midnight.

 

11:23 AM – to N. Harrison St., Donnelsville for report of theft.  Man reported his camera missing from a counter in his garage.  He gave the name of a suspect, but only knows that he lives in Park Layne.  He was advised that the incident would be documented.

12:32 PM – to 100 block of N. Pike St. for a report of criminal damaging. Man stated that the two tires on the passenger side of his vehicle were flat and had been cut on the sidewall.  He was asked if he had any suspects, and he replied that he believes his girlfriend’s soon-to-be-ex-husband cut his tires.  He said that this is the second time in two weeks that it has happened.

3:37 PM – to 800 block of Whaley Rd. for report of missing juvenile.  Woman stated that she was arguing with her son about doing chores.  He was disciplined, then told to go next door to help a neighbor with chores.  Juvenile reportedly left the neighbor’s house and hasn’t been seen since.  At 6:00 PM he was found at Raynor Park and returned home.

8:25 PM – to N. Tecumseh Rd. for report of trespassing.  Woman stated that she has had ongoing problems with a man coming to her door and asking for a ride to Springfield.  Neighbors are also reporting the same problem.  She was advised to call if he returns and not to answer her door.

11:46 PM – to 200 block of Stratmore for report of a fight.  Three juvenile girls were in a fight over a boy.  One girl was injured and was transported to Community Hospital. The injured girl’s father asked about pressing charges against the offending juvenile.

 

Saturday, June 12

5:12 AM – to First St., Medway for a report of theft.  Man stated that someone broke out the rear window of his vehicle and took an I-phone and a bottle of cologne.

10:32 AM – to 200 block of Prentice for report of theft.  Man reported that his wallet was missing.  The wallet was found in the street on Kennison and Prentice but was missing $500 in cash.  He said that his neighbors have been acting suspicious since his wallet was discovered missing.

7:14 PM – to 1600 block of Daleridge Rd. for a report of domestic disturbance.  Woman stated that her friend and the friend’s husband had been in an argument over their marriage.  She said the husband was yelling the loudest trying to get the wife to take him back.  The argument was over the husband getting the wife’s best friend pregnant.  There was no assault, so no charges were filed.

11:07 PM – to N. Park Rd, Crystal Lake, for report of domestic dispute.  When deputies arrived, both parties stated that they had worked out their differences and the male half was leaving to go to work.

 

Sunday, June 13

2:03 AM – to 100 block of N. Main St. for a report of an assault.  Woman stated that she and her boyfriend were invited to a friend’s apartment.  She said that she started arguing with the friend and that he hit her on the back of her head three times.  She refused a squad but said that she wanted to file charges.  The boyfriend agreed that the friend hit her.  When the friend was informed that he was being charged with assault, he said he wanted to file charges against the reportee for trespassing.

2:37 AM – to 200 block of W. Main, Medway, for a report of a fight.  Woman stated that she was outside with some relatives when a truck pulled up and a blonde woman got out and struck her on the left eye.  She said she struck back and injured her right hand.    A male victim said he tried to break up the fight when he was struck on the back of the head by the driver of the truck.  Neither of the victims know why they were assaulted.  The victims are refusing prosecution.

9:59 AM – to 6700 block of W. National Rd. for a domestic dispute.  Woman stated that she was in an argument with her husband when she told him that she wanted to leave him.  She said that he hit her with her shoe.  Husband advised they were yelling but denied hitting her.

11:55 AM – to 1100 block of Burkett Ave. for report of theft.  Man stated that overnight someone stole the GPS from his car.  There were no signs of forced entry.

3:12 PM – To 700 block of Hyer St. for report of theft.  Woman stated that she looked out her window and saw two males trying to enter her vehicle.  She said that when she opened her front door, the suspects took off running down Fyffe, and that one of them dropped a glove.  The glove was taken as evidence.

4:00 PM – to Rea Dr., Medway for report of burglary.  Woman stated that she was gone for the weekend and returned home to find her rear door was unlocked and the glass window had been pushed in.  Missing were $100 worth of coins, a knife and a cooler.  She suspects her grandson. 

5:50 PM – to 9900 block of Union Rd.  Man stated that a bag of trash was dumped at the end of his driveway.  The bag will be picked up later to look for possible suspect.

8:28 PM – to 3900 block of N. Dayton-Lakeview for report of theft.  Man reported that someone broke into his garage and took two engines.  The scene was processed and evidence was collected.

9:35 PM – to 800 block of Hyer St. for report of theft.  Woman stated that someone broke into her vehicle and took a GPS unit, a phone charger and $7.50 in cash.  She said that several other vehicles in the area had been broken into.

 

Monday, June 14

1:30 AM – to 10900 block of Lower Valley Pike for report of criminal damaging.  Woman reported that while she was working, someone damaged the rear window of her vehicle.  The incident was caught on the business’ surveillance cameras.  Deputies watched the surveillance video, but no one could identify the suspects.  Manager agreed to burn the video to DVD for deputies.

8:04 AM – to 100 block of W. Main, Medway for report of theft.  Man reported a truck was stolen from his property.  Truck was not located.

10:00 AM – to 1500 block of Lambers for report of theft.  Woman stated that someone entered her vehicle and took the sound system.  She said that she did not have any serial numbers.

12:20 PM – to 100 block of Croskey Blvd., Medway, for report of menacing.  Man said that his neighbor was threatening him.  He said that he had called deputies previously on the neighbor because his air conditioner was too loud and disrupted his sleep.  He said that he fears what the neighbor might do.  Neighbor said that he did not threaten the reportee and that he is tired of the reportee nitpicking everything he does.  He said that he has complained about his flag pole not being properly installed, his porch light being too bright and now his air conditioner being too loud.  Both parties were advised to leave each other alone, and if they had issues to contact the mobile home park’s management.

2:02 PM – to 700 block of W. Lake Ave. for report of an internet scam.  Woman stated that she was messaged by a person who talked her into receiving items by FedEx and then reshipping them throughout the world.  The property and sales slips were collected and taken into evidence.  She was advised to not talk to these people online any further and to notify the office if she receives any more correspondence from them.

 

Tuesday, June 15

12:55 AM – to Weinland St.for report of theft.  Woman stated that her husband broke into her home and damaged the residence.  She said that she is in the process of divorce and has a restraining order against her husband.  She said her children were at home and verified that it was the husband.  She was advised to contact her attorney to file a civil contempt charge.

8:55 PM – to 800 block of Styer Dr.  Woman stated that she was visiting family when a man and his girlfriend came up and started yelling at her.  She said that she has a protection order against the man. He was placed in jail for violating the protection order.

1:41 PM – to 100 block of W. Main, Medway for report of damaging.  Man stated that someone damaged the steering column of one of his trucks.  He said that he believed they were trying to steal the truck.  Both batteries were taken from the truck.

10:35 PM – to Steven Circle for report of domestic violence.  Woman reported that her husband came home and verbally threatened her.  She said that he placed his hand over her mouth and she had difficulty breathing.  She said she broke free and hid in a closet.  She said that he then took a hammer and started breaking things in the house.  She said she fled to a neighbor’s house and called for help.  The husband was arrested for domestic violence.

 

Wednesday, June 16

8:57 AM – to 200 block of Funston Ave.  Woman stated that she has a protection order against her neighbor.  She said that the neighbor is talking to everyone in the area telling them that the reportee is “mean and crazy.”  She said that the neighbor made uncomplimentary remarks and she believed that they were directed toward her.  She was advised that these were not a violation of the order.

10:42 AM – to 800 block of Cliffside for report of theft.  Man stated that he sold his van and the buyer was supposed to let him know before he picked it up.  He said that he fell asleep and when he woke up his personal effects in the van were on the driveway and that the buyer did not remove his license plates from the van.

11:50 AM – to 4400 block of Spence Rd.  Man reported that his ex-girlfriend had threatened to call 911 and file a false report on him to cause harm to him at his employment.  His juvenile daughter also complained because she won’t leave him alone.  He requested documentation in case she follows through with her threat.

4:47 PM – to 6900 block of W. National Rd. for a report of damaging.  Woman stated that two unknown men came to her door demaning to get their money and weed back. She said she had no idea what they were talking about.  She said that one of the men became enraged and broke out the window in the door and then they left.  She said she needed a report for future reference.

6:50 PM – to 200 block of N. Church St. for report of damaging.  Woman reported that she came home and found the window to her entry door broken.  She does not believe anyone gained entry to her home.  She requested documentation of the incident.

8:30 PM – to 200 block of Braun St.  Woman stated that she and two friends were drinking tequila when one of them passed out and stopped breathing.  She was able to begin breathing on her own and was transported to Grandview Hospital.

10:24 PM – to 900 block of S. Tecumseh Rd.  Man stated that he heard a noise outside, went out and found a juvenile female in his wife’s vehicle.  She was found to be a runaway from Urbana.  The juvenile’s foster mother arrived to pick her up.

11:35 PM – to Todd Lee Dr.  for report of a domestic disturbance.  Woman said that she had an argument with her daughter and the daughter was disrespectful and cursing at her.  She said that when she told the daughter that she could not see her boyfriend that the daughter went “out of control.”  Daughter said that her mother was a “bad mother” and the two hated each other.  She said that the only person who loves her is her boyfriend.  Daughter was asked why her pupils were dilated and she said that she had taken one Klonopin and snorted another.  Pike Twp. Squad was called. 

 

Thursday, June 17

3:22 AM – While responding to a call, deputy saw a car traveling west on Rt. 40.  The plate matched a suspect vehicle involved in an incident in Donnelsville.  Driver was found to have an outstanding warrant for offences involving minors.  He was arrested for obstructing official business and taken to the Clark County Jail.  Also in the car was a 19-year-old intoxicated subject and several cans of beer.  He was charged with offences involving underage persons and picked up by his mother.

4:47 PM – to 8700 block of Detrick-Jordan Pk. for report of damaging.  Man reported someone broke a window on his property.  It is not known how it was broken and there are no suspects.

11:14 AM – To Michelle Dr. for report of damaging.  Man reported that someone broke the window in his car. Investigation showed that a beer bottle was used to break it.  Nothing was left of the bottle to process for evidence.

9:44 PM – to 10800 block of Milton Carlisle for report of domestic disturbance.  Man stated that his “now-ex-girlfriend” came to his residence and he told her that she was getting no money from him and that he wanted nothing to do with her.  He said she then slapped him.  He wanted the incident documented.
