Come join the Medway Area Historical Society on May 19 at 7 pm for their next monthly meeting. The Society meets at the Medway Baptist Church at Gerlaugh and Lake Roads. The programs help the community learn more about the area we all call home.
It’s a busy time of the year as the Society is getting ready for the Memorial Day parade. Come on Friday, May 27 at 6 pm to help decorate the float. Then Saturday morning, May 28 come to the Medway School at 9:30 am - hop up on the beautifully decorated float and ride in the parade.
Also, the Society will continue planning for the Medway 200 Birthday Celebration which will take place on August 6. Be sure to mark the date on your calendars. There will be a cruise-in, entertainment and of course, lots of yummy food. Meanwhile; light refreshments will be served at the May 19 meeting and as always the public is invited.
