Firefighter of the Quarter-Rob Archbold, Firefighter / Paramedic…
Firefighter Archbold is a very enthusiastic emergency service provider and shares this motivation with his co-workers. He is a mentor for younger employees and is always willing to share his knowledge. Firefighter Archbold understands the need for personal growth and development and is actively pursing a nursing certification while concurrently working for the New Carlisle Fire Division. Firefighter Archbold is great employee and a valuable asset to the City of New Carlisle. Fire Officer of the Quarter -Rollin McIntosh, Captain. Captain McIntosh is an exceptional employee. He is very determined, goal oriented, and contributes a great deal to the Fire Division. Captain McIntosh coordinated the development of several incident action plans (IAPs) for community events such as the Heritage of Flight Festival and the New Years Eve Ball drop. These IAPs are instrumental for compliance with the National Incident Management System and ensures the Fire Division is prepared should an emergency occur. Additionally, he serves as the Fire Division Training Officer responsible for ensuring all personnel receive the training necessary to stay proficient in all aspects of emergency service operations. Overall, Captain McIntosh is a true professional and a highly respected employee. Proudly these two men stood before council to receive their awards. Each of the quarterly award winners will compete for the annual Firefighter and Fire Officer of the Year awards.
