Ten projects for ODOT are scheduled across Clark County for this summer.
North of the city on 235 they are milling the existing roadway and resurfacing. It will be completed by the beginning of October. State Rt. 40 has been seeing milling and repaving going on for some time now. Its’ completion is expected in mid - July. The corner of 675 and 70 is having some lighting updated in order to make this a safer intersection. East of here, is the bridge replacement where St Rt 40 and #369 meet, it also nearing completion.  By George Rogers Park, they are milling and resurfacing and should be finished by the end of the month. State routes 70, 72 and 40 outside of Springfield all are going through some changes and heading south towards Dayton is no different. Trying to get out of town on New Carlisle Pike will find you turning around again because the bridge by North Hampton Rd. is being replaced. The North Hampton Rd bridge has already been replaced and that road has re - opened. West Possum and Shrine both have closures that should only be for a short - time more. Remember, fines are doubled within work zones and expect some delays … no matter where you’re heading. Construction zones are the short term reminder, that our county is modernizing and making itself safer and more appealing to citizens and businesses.
