The Friends of the New Carlisle Public Library will host the annual Fall Book Sale at the NC Library at 111 E Lake Avenue October 6 through October 8, 2016. The Friends have a large collection of DVDs, CDs, adult fiction and nonfiction and children’s books available. In addition, the Friends will sponsor a raffle featuring handcrafted items and the popular pizza gift card.
The hours for the event are from 12:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday and from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Not only are the Friends offering amazing bargains for everyone, but also Friends of the Library members are eligible for additional discounts. Memberships are available throughout the sale. Individuals can join for the low cost of $5; families can join for $10; and business and nonprofits can join for $25.

The Friends support the library by providing books and materials and by promoting the library activities, and programs that support library development. This year the Friends provided support for the Children’s Summer Reading Program, purchased three TVs, and a new vacuum cleaner for the library. The Friends are a non-profit organization staffed and run entirely by volunteers.
