Bethel Township Fire crews were called to 3824 Cloverdale Rd. shortly after 7:00 Saturday evening for a kitchen fire.

"They left something on the stove and it caught fire," said Assistant Fire Chief Chris Ludwick.  Crews were starting to leave around 7:40 PM.

No one was home when the fire started, but a cat and a dog were given oxygen.

Also responding were New Carlisle and Bethel Township, Miami County.
