The Clark County Sheriff's Department has been called to the WesBanco Branch on Main Street in New Carlisle on a robbery attempt. According to Clark County Sheriff Gene Kelly, a suspect entered the bank about 9:40 this morning. He is described as being between 5-foot 6 and 6 foot tall,  wearing a Halloween mask, dark cap, khaki pants and brandishing a large caliber handgun He demanded money from the teller which was placed in a pillow case. The suspect left the bank on foot. The Miami County Canine Unit has been called in to help locate the suspect.  The dog tracked the subject's scent to the parking lot of St. Mark's Church where it is believed that the suspect entered his vehicle and left the scene. On his way to the scene a Clark County Deputy may have caught the escaping car on his dash video. The video is being examined at this time as is surveillance video from Wesbanco. Kelly is asking anyone who saw the man described running in the area of Jackson and North Pike Streets to call his department at 328-2560. Â
