Marjorie Louise Clark, 88, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family, Monday, August 15, 2011.

She was born in Blue Jacket, OK on February 6, 1923 the daughter of the late Jesse and Lillian (Newcomb) Plummer.

Marjorie will be dearly missed by her family and all those whose lives she touched. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 64 years, Lester John Clark; three daughters, Karen Marie and husband James V. Tinney, Maryann Layton, Lisa Anne Clark and life-partner Peggy Beckelheimer; two sons, Michael Gerard Clark and wife Christine M.,Kevin Gerard Clark and fiancée Susan Creech; eight grandchildren, Chad (Lindsey Underwood) Singer, Ryan Singer, Emily (Victor) Rooney, Angela (Brandon) Spivey, Jason (Kristina) Layton, Specialist Eric Layton, Louise Clark, Kirstyn Clark; seven great grandchildren, Madison Rooney, Isabella Rooney, Charles Rooney, Christian Spivey, Taylor Spivey, Victoria Layton, and Liam Layton; sister, Dora Frances Martin; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by infant son, Jeffrey; infant daughter, Michelle; two brothers, Robert and J.P.; two sisters, Kathryn and Ruth. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6-8 PM, Thursday, August 18, 2011 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 AM, Friday, August 19, 2011 in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, New Carlisle, Ohio. Burial will follow at the New Carlisle Cemetery.
