DAISY CHILES, 77, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2011 at Hospice of Dayton.

She was born on May 28, 1934 in Good Hope, Ohio the daughter of the late Estill and Mary Rarden.

Daisy was a member of the First United Methodist Church of New Carlisle, past president of the American Legion #286 Auxiliary, volunteered with the New Carlisle Fire Dept. and graduated from Fairborn High School class of 52.

She is survived by a daughter, Cheri Robbins; two granddaughters, Ashley and Brianne who were the lights of her life. Also survived by one brother and one sister, several brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews & nieces including Ron Watterly, two step children, special friends/family Norm and Dorothy Stroup and Sharon House and other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by six brothers and sisters and her husband, Bernie Chiles.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9-10:30 AM Saturday, November 12, 2011 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio with services following at 10:30 AM.  Burial will be at New Carlisle Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the New Carlisle Church of the Brethren.
