Geraldine E. Cummins, age 74, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away on Wednesday June 16, 2010 at home.

She was born October 9, 1935 in Detroit, Michigan.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Stewart; daughters, Laura & Linda; a son, Grant; grandchildren; and a sister, Laura (Joe) Medred.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Remmel & Julia (Gruzdis) May; a daughter, Lisa Diane Lemmon.

Geraldine graduated from Detroit Western High School and Purdue University in 1957 with a BS in English. She was a long standing member of Honey Creek Presbyterian Church having served as an Elder and in many other roles for several terms over the years from 1960 to 2010.

Her wish was to be remembered for her children, her compassion for others, and her gift for cooking some of the best meals ever served. She touched many people with her strength, kindness and humor. She will be missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Saturday June 26, 2010 at the Honey Creek Presbyterian Church with Pastor Shelley Wiley officiating.
