Donald R. McConehea died Sunday June 20, 2010 at his home with his family.

He is survived by his wife Annis and together their ten children, twenty one grandchildren, six great grandchildren, aunt and six cousins.

He was born in Springfield in 1947. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his family.

He worked the Tecumseh School District for 33 years before retiring.

He is preceded in death by his parents Donald and Florence McConehea and a stepson Woodrow B. Layne.

Funeral services will were held at Alcony Grace Church on Wednesday, June 23.
