Austin J. Farley, 80, of Donnelsville, Ohio beloved son, brother, and uncle died Saturday, June 26, 2010 at the Summit at Park Hills after a short illness.

He was born in White Star, Kentucky on January 3, 1930, the son of Thelma I. Hensley and stepfather, Stephen L. Hensley.

Austin served in the military and was honorably discharged in 1967. He retired from Wright-Patterson AFB in 1985.

Austin loved his family and friends and showed that in many ways.

He is survived by his mother; sister, Yvonne Osborn; brothers-in-law, Roger Osborn and Darrell Schlabach; nieces, Sheri Etzwiler, Cindy Schlabach, and Brenda (Marcus) Warner; great-nieces, Stephanie Warner, Makala, Malana and Malia Etzwiler and great-nephew, Benjamin Warner.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather and sister, Roberta Schlabach.

A gathering of family and friends was held from 5-8 PM on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR AND FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio.

The funeral service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at the funeral home with Marcus Warner officiating. Burial will be at the New Carlisle Cemetery.
