Oliver F. Upton, 94, of Casstown, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on July 11, 2010 after courageous battle with cancer.

Son of the late John Riley and Julia (Corman) Upton.

He was the founder of Upton Brother’s Construction where he was responsible for the construction of Honey Creek Village and many more projects throughout the Miami Valley area. He continued his experience as a heavy machine operator throughout the remainder of his life giving a hand to neighbors, family, and friends.

He was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing, and most of all gardening.

Proceeded in death by Todd Stoltz (Grandson), Tommy Upton (Nephew), Jerry Upton (Nephew), and Gary Long (Nephew).

He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Maisie L. (Owens) Upton; Daughters, Patricia Bingaman (Son-in-law Lester), Julia Kessler (Son-in-law Dale), Nancy McClain (The late son-in-law Mike McClain), and 4 step daughters, Jeanne Denney, Judy Beeler (Son-in-law Bruce), Pamela Hupp (Son-in-law Steven), and Jennifer Lowe (Son-in Law Greg). 13 Grandsons, 5 Granddaughters, 10 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great Grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10:30AM-12PM Thursday, July 15, 2010 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR AND FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio.

Funeral services will follow at 12PM in the funeral home with Pastor Brother Larry Dukes.

Burial immediately after the service at Memorial Park Cemetery.
