Sarah Jane Blevins, 83, of Springfield passed away Friday, July 23, 2010 in Friends Care Center, Yellow Springs.

She was born August 24, 1926 in Clark County the daughter of William F. and Sarah (Crabill) Kohl and was a 1944 graduate of New Moorefield High School.

Mrs. Blevins was a member and held State Offices in the “Good Sam RV Club” and along with her husband, belonged to “P T Boats Inc.”

She is survived by her husband of sixty-four years, Everett Blevins, whom she married on her birthday in 1946; two daughters and a son-in-law Sandi Powell of Beavercreek, and Bonnie and Mickey Wilkinson of Springfield; one brother Paul (Carolyn) Kohl of Cape Coral, Florida; three grandchildren Teresa (Doug) Gray of New Carlisle, Megan (Lauren) Werner of Yellow Springs, and Jennifer Powell of Beavercreek; eleven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother Joe Kohl, and a sister and brother-in-law Dorothy and Jack Ulsh.

Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 PM. in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:00 PM. in the Memorial Home with Pastor Ed Dungan officiating. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery.
