Clarence N. Spencer, 89, of Hillsboro, Ohio passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2010. He was born May 31, 1921 in Junior, West Virginia the son of the late Christian & Nancy (Phillips) Spencer. He was a retired school teacher and a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corp. He is survived by his children, Kenny Spencer, Gloria Buechter, Clarence Spencer Jr., David Spencer and Sharon Markin; 26 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; sister, Jessie Felton; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife; Thelma Loretta Lee Spencer; sisters, Betty, Evelyn, Helen & Mildred; brothers, John, Campbell, Arthur, Harold, Gilbert and Merle. Visitation was 11-1 PM Monday August 9, 2010 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio with funeral services at 1:30 PM with Rev. Steve Lookabaugh officiating. Burial was at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
