Marsha Ann Randall, 66, of Sun City Center, FL, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on August 25, 2010, in Alexandria, VA, one day shy of her 43rd wedding anniversary.
She was survived by her loving husband, Roger, and her children, Chris Randall and wife Kelley, Heidi Randall Seiffert and husband Grant, her grandchildren, Bradyn and Bayley Randall, Ansley, Grant Jr. and Chase Seiffert, her step-grandchildren, Ashtyn and Aaron Young, her sister, Lois Young Conklin, her niece, Maegan Conklin and husband James Nidel, her mother-in-law, Evelyn Randall, and brother and sister-in-law, Rob and Sharon Randall.
Marsha was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and was a graduate of Wittenberg University where she was a member of Kappa Delta sorority and the Wittenberg Choir. She was a former teacher in Columbus City Schools and what is now the Greenon Local School District, where she and her family resided in Ohio for 35 years. She retired as Director of the Clark County Literacy Coalition in Springfield. Marsha’s powerful legacy will always be her determination to overcome great odds in the battle against severe rheumatoid arthritis, cancer and strokes. She taught those who knew her endurance, tenacity and grace through her God-given gifts of humor and music. She found great comfort in the love and presence of her family and friends and will be missed by all.
A memorial service for Marsha will be held September 5, 2:00pm at Bethel Lutheran Church, 2731 W. Jackson Rd., Springfield, OH, where she was a member and choir director for 30 years. A reception will follow the service.
