Sgt. Ronnie Lemen with the Clark County Sheriff’s Department released the following at 5:26pm today:
On the afternoon of April 10, 2016 the Clark County Sheriff's Office Communication Center received a 911 call in reference to a possible drowning at Katmandu recreation facility located at 9027 E. National Road in South Vienna, Ohio.
The caller reported that a young child was located unconscious and floating in the pool area.
The child was pulled from the pool and immediately started to receive medical attention while waiting on deputies and Harmony Township EMS to arrive on scene.
Once Harmony Township EMS arrived on scene they took over all medical care. Care Flight was called to the scene and the child was transported to Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
At this present time this incident remains under investigation by the Clark County Sheriff's Office.
