Tecumseh Middle School was on lock-down for about 2½ hours Friday morning after a student reported finding a bomb threat written on a boy’s restroom wall.

“We called Wright-Patt’s bomb dogs,” said Major Andy Reynolds of the Clark County Sheriff’s office. “They did a thorough search and didn’t find anything.”

The call came in to the Sheriff’s Office around 10:00 a.m.

The Middle School students were moved to the High School as a precautionary measure, but returned to the Middle School at around 12:30 p.m.

"The TMS students, staff and administration are to be commended for their cooperation and orderliness during the ordeal" said Tecumseh Superintendent Norm Glissman.  "Thank you to the THS administration and staff who assisted in the process of hosting TMS students. Kudos to the TMS kitchen staff who brought and served lunches to the TMS students at THS. Finally, thank you to the Clark County Sheriff's Department for their guidance, assistance and support today."

The incident is under investigation by the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.
