A German Twp. woman was arrested on 5 charges Monday evening. Arrested was Jessica McCombs, of Ballentine Pike.
A Clark County Sheriff Deputy initiated a traffic stop on Upper Valley Pike at Shrine Rd. for a loud muffler. The McCombs was also having problems staying in her lane.
Checking the vehicle, the deputy found it to be filled with trash, cigarette ashes and old food throughout.
The deputy soon learned that the plates on the vehicle were reported stolen in Champaign County.
McCombs was also in possession of three different prescriptions that were for another person. The pills were controlled substances.
She was arrested for possession of drugs, three counts of possession of a dangerous drug, child endangering, receiving stolen property and driving under suspension.
The small child who was with McCombs was turned over to Clark County Children’s Services.
McCombs was taken to the Clark County Jail.
