Clark County Sheriff Deputies, in conjunction with the Ohio State Patrol, Springfield Police and U.S. Marshals, conducted a proactive enforcement blitz in Bethel Township and New Carlisle on Friday evening.

The Ohio State Patrol and Sheriff’s Deputies made traffic stops, served warrants and tried to make underage alcohol buys.

“Our goal is to take the numbers from the three operations and present them to other townships throughout the county,” said Major Alan Cox, who helped spearhead the operations. “We would love to do this county-wide.”
