Two people were sent to the hospital following a wreck Sunday afternoon on Lower Valley Pike.
According to initial reports, the vehicle was westbound on Lower Valley Pike, went off the road, ramped on a driveway, went airborne flying over a flower bed and landing on its side inches from a large tree.
The driver was ejected from the vehicle and lost consciousness for a brief period. Both occupants were conscious when they were transported to Miami Valley Hospital for injuries described as “non-life-threatening right now.”
A nearby resident said she didn’t see the accident, but heard it. “It sounded more like thunder than a crash,” she said.
The incident is still under investigation by the Ohio State Patrol.
