Clark County Jail mugshot of Larry E. Hall

Larry E. Hall appeared in Clark County Municipal Court Tuesday after Clark County Sheriff's Deputies executed a search warrant at his home on Harley Ave. Monday afternoon.

Hall entered a plea of “innocent” to one count of trafficking in prescription narcotics within 1000 feet of a school, and one count of trafficking in marijuana within 1000 feet of a school.

“We had received numerous complaints from neighbors,” said Maj. Allen Cox. “We made a controlled buy and got the warrant.”

According to court documents, the investigation began on June 20 when undercover agents observed a “heavy flow of traffic coming coming to and leaving the residence, with most of the individuals staying for approximately 5 minutes.”

On June 22, the Clark County Sheriff's Office was able to make a controlled buy of a schedule 2 substance from the residence in which Hall allegedly prepared and handled the substance.

After the warrant was executed on June 26, Hall admitted to Detective Buxton that he had been “selling pills and marijuana for approximately 3 years” to supplement his income. Hall admits that he made $1,200 a month “selling illegal products,” according to court documents.

Investigators also seized several vehicles.

“I’m glad something is finally happening,” said one neighbor. “There were people coming and going all day every day.”

Another neighbor said that once a woman had left the house in a hurry and crashed into a light pole on Hartley. “We don’t need that kind of stuff here,” he said. “There are a lot of kids who play outside.”

Bond for Hall was set at $15,000.
