The boyfriend did not want to release the child, claiming that the woman dates a drug dealer and uses synthetic urine for drug tests. The boyfriend advised that he is in the process of getting emergency custody of their child. Another caller reported that the woman was at her house yelling and throwing things and that she had kicked in the back door to the garage. The deputy arrived to find a window of the vehicle had been broken out. The woman and her passenger said they heard a sound like a BB gun go off, but nothing was struck. They then said that they heard the noise again and the window shattered. The woman said that she saw the man on top of the roof with a BB gun. She said that he climbed down and she chased him around the house to the back door of the garage. She said she never went in the door and never kicked it. She said she was at his home because she is pregnant with his baby and his girlfriend wanted to see the pregnancy test. Deputies inspected the garage door and saw only one footprint on it. The man said that it was his from a few weeks ago when he locked himself out of the house. The deputy saw glass on the sidewalk, but it appeared to have been from an inside strike, rather than an outside strike. Where the SUV was parked was about 250’ from the roof of the house, and the deputy did not believe that a BB shot from that distance would shatter a tempered window. The woman was advised not to have any contact with the man, and the man was advised similarly. The deputy checked with the Prosecutor’s office and was advised that there is not enough evidence to support charges.

3:30 p.m. An Addison-Carlisle Rd. resident called to report that he was informed that two bank accounts were opened using his information. The banks were contacted and the accounts were frozen. At 6:00 p.m., she picked up her keys at the New Carlisle Substation.

They were then advised that two carloads of men had left the lot. Deputies arrived to find Bethel Medics working on the man on the ground. The man with the knife gave it to a deputy. Investigation showed that a man entered the establishment and tied his dog up outside. Several people were trying to steal the dog and some other patrons tried to stop them. The man then came outside and saw another man tying his dog back up and thought he was the one trying to steal the dog. He took a knife out of his pocket and kept it in the sheath. The other man grabbed his arm and pushed him back and he hit his head on the pavement. All witnesses said that the other man was trying to defend himself. The other man did not wish to press charges because he knew the man was just trying to protect his dog. No charges were filed. 8:23 a.m. To New Carlisle-St. Paris Rd. for a report of forgery. The neighbor was contacted and advised that he could only cut branches that were on his property. He said that the tree had been a problem and he thought he was doing the woman a favor. Both parties were advised that this is a civil issue.

He said he just wanted to get his furniture and did not want her to go to jail. A neighbor stated that she saw the man on the side of the house hitting himself in the face. The man became upset and claimed that the deputies were taking the neighbor’s side because they are female. He said the deputies were no longer needed and told them to get off of his property. He then began to curse loudly at the deputies and was throwing things from his truck bed. He was advised to calm down or he would be charged with being disorderly. He did so. The wife said she never touched her husband and said that he could take their bedroom set, but was hesitant to let him take both couches from the living room. She was advised that since they are married, they would have to compromise. She then allowed him to take one couch because she has been sleeping on the other one. The man was advised that if he took both couches, a welfare issue would arise since she would have no place to sleep and was told that he could take one couch. He became verbally upset again and said that he was taking both. He was advised that since he is not listening or cooperating, he could be trespassed from the property. He then compromised and took one couch. He then said that he had all of his belongings and would not be returning to the property. He was advised that if he needed to return, he should call for a deputy to be present. He continued being argumentative and said that he would not call deputies and did not need their help. He left the property.

6:03 p.m. To New Carlisle Pike for a report of an injury accident. A man reported that he had rear-ended another vehicle. He said that as he approached the other vehicle, an older male choked him and kicked him in the groin. He said he wanted to press charges. He also advised the deputy to speak with a subject across the street who witnessed the altercation. An occupant of the vehicle that was struck said that he advised the man to get back into his vehicle. He said that the older male was his father-in-law. He said the two were yelling, but that his father-in-law did not choke or kick the man. The witness across the street said he arrived home as the situation was de-escalating and did not see the original altercation. He said that he did not see anyone choking the man. Due to conflicting statements and a lack of independent witnesses, no charges were filed.

He said he then got up and punched the subject in the forehead, cutting it open. Other patrons threw the subject out of the door and into the parking lot, where he entered a GMC truck and left. Both father and son were intoxicated. Another deputy left to search for the subject and found him a few blocks away. He had a fresh cut on his forehead. He said that he was at the bar with his girlfriend and her friend having a few drinks after a birthday party. He said that a man then came up to him and punched him in the forehead knocking him off of the stool.
