Sun 10/2

1:09 a.m. To Alpha Rd. for a report of a domestic dispute. A man and a woman advised that they were arguing and that there were no threats or acts of violence. The female half said she wanted to grab some things and spend the rest of the night at her mother’s. Both had been drinking.

10:39 a.m. To Frayne Dr. A man reported that he went with his girlfriend to his mother’s home to pick up his car. He said he was unable to drive it because it had flat tires. He said he got into his car and his mother came over and kicked the driver’s door. The mother said there was an incident last might with the man and his girlfriend in which he pulled a gun on her. She said that he came to get his car and she was yelling that she didn’t want him there. She said he got into the car and she shut the driver’s door but did not kick it. The man asked that the incident be documented.

Mon 10/3

8:35 a.m. To Prentice Dr. for a report of a theft. A man reported that he was on his way to work Sun evening when the rear wheel of his motorcycle locked up. He said he pushed it to the grass in front of the bowling alley and a friend picked him up. He said that when his shift ended, he and his friend went to pick up his motorcycle and it was gone. The deputy checked with Dispatch and they advised that neither the Sheriff’s office nor OSP were there about the cycle. The deputy checked with nearby businesses to see if any surveillance cameras might have captured the theft, but none did.

9:45 a.m. A Stafford Rd. resident called to report that for the past three or four days, her ex-husband has been calling and texting her at all hours interrupting her sleep and job duties. She said that he has texted her about getting custody of their daughter. Right now he has visitation rights and nothing more. She was advised on the process of getting a protection order and advised to contact her attorney to have his visitation rights terminated.

11:19 a.m. To W. Washington St. for a report of vandalism. A woman reported that she left her vehicle parked on the street in front of her residence. She said that this morning she found that both the windshield and rear window had been shattered. She said that she has already been in contact with her insurance company and requested a report.

5:45 p.m. A deputy found a license plate and set of keys on the steps to the New Carlisle substation. He ran the plate but could not get a good phone number for the owner. The items were placed into property.

7:23 p.m. To N. Hampton Rd. A man reported that he was bush hogging some property and found a purse near the intersection of N. Hampton Rd. and Milton Carlisle Rd. The deputy was able to locate the owner and returned her purse. She said that another bag that was also found was not hers. It was submitted into property.

7:48 p.m. To the area of Funston & Scott Streets for a report of subjects in a white truck shooting a pellet gun in the area. Deputies patrolled the area but could not locate the white truck. A woman reported that the truck was missing a headlight and stopped at the stop sign and began shooting what she believed to be a pellet gun. She said that there were two people standing nearby and she thought the subject was shooting at them. She said that several of the pellets ricocheted and struck her house and vehicle, but caused no damage. At 8:13 a deputy saw a white truck with a missing headlight on N. Church near Funston. Both the driver and passenger denied shooting in the area but said that they had an air gun in the vehicle. The deputy found the gun and a container of BBs. The subjects then admitted that the driver was shooting at the stop sign at Scott and Funston. He was charged with one count of tampering with the stop sign.

11:44 p.m. To N. Scott St. for a report of vandalism. A woman reported that someone broke out the driver’s window in her vehicle. She said a passer-by noticed the damage and told her about it. There are no suspects or witnesses.

Tues 10/4

2:58 p.m. To Addison-New Carlisle Rd. for a report of a breaking and entering. A woman reported that this morning they noticed that their barn door was open but didn’t notice anything missing.

Wed 10/5

9:58 a.m. To Rosewood Rd. for a report of a neighbor dispute. A woman reported that she was charged with trespassing for mowing grass, and she thought it was unjustified. She said that her property and the neighbor’s property used to be one property, but was split years ago. She said that her garage is partially on the neighbor’s property. She said that the neighbor started making issues about the property line over two years ago and that the neighbor was advised on several occasions to have her property surveyed to determine the property line. The deputy contacted the Prosecutor’s office, and learned that the charge of trespassing will not be sought. The Prosecutor’s representative also advised that the properties need to be surveyed to determine the property line, and that no charges of trespassing from either property would be entertained by the Prosecutor’s office.

3:00 p.m. To Prentice Dr. for a report of a theft. A man said he went to his vehicle and found the glove box open. He said that the only thing taken was a Cincinnati Reds ticket stub. He said that later that he was reading a news article on the Reds and the article mentioned 10 unique memorabilia items that were for sale one of them was a ticket stub similar to the one stolen from his vehicle. He said he wasn’t sure if that was the same stub.

3:45 p.m. To W. Washington St. for a report of vandalism. A woman reported that someone had run over a tree on her property. She could not think of any suspects.

4:44 p.m. To Lambers Dr. for a report of an assault. A woman reported that her son has been bullied at school and wanted something done about it. She said that he was assaulted on the bus today. The deputy said that he would follow up with the school resource officer tomorrow.

4:35 p.m. To Troy Rd. for a report of identity fraud. A man reported that someone had opened several accounts in his name with Sprint and that they said he owed $1169 and that it had been sent to a collection agency. He said the accounts originated last November. There were two other names on the account that he did not recognize. He said he contacted the collection agency who pulled up his account but would not provide any information. He asked that the incident be documented.

5:20 p.m. To Main and Lincoln Streets for a report of a 4-vehicle accident. A northbound driver rear-ended another vehicle that was stopped for traffic. The impact pushed the struck vehicle into another and it struck yet another vehicle. The driver causing the chain reaction was cited for speed.

Thurs 10/6

3:05 a.m. To N. Main St. for a report of breaking and entering. A woman said she heard three loud bangs coming from a business near her home. She checked and found the door wide open. The deputy arrived to find the rear door also open and the door frame damaged. The business owner arrived, surveyed the property and couldn’t find anything missing.

8:48 a.m. To W. Jefferson St. for a report of found property. A man reported finding a bowling ball bag with two bowling balls in it. They were submitted into property.

Fri 10/7

5:54 a.m. To Detrick-Jordan Pike for a report of a vehicle on fire. Pike Twp. Fire Department extinguished the fire. The deputy ran the plate and it came back to a Huber Heights resident. Huber Police were advised, they contacted the owner and learned that it was stolen. It was towed. Pike Twp. requested a report for the damage to the pavement.

12:05 p.m. To S. Dayton-Lakeview Rd. for a report of a theft. A man reported that someone took the plate from his motorcycle. He was advised to contact BMV for a temporary plate and the plate was entered as stolen.

2:37 p.m. To Frayne Dr. for a report of a heroin overdose. Bethel Twp. Medics were already on scene and reported that the victim was given two doses of Narcan but refused to be transported. The victim said that he took one capsule, and that is all he remembered. A woman on the scene said that the heroin was purchased in West Carrollton. The victim was found to have an outstanding warrant and was taken to the Clark County Jail.

Satur 10/8

1:33 a.m. To Oaklawn Ave. to assist Bethel Twp. Medics with an intoxicated woman with a laceration to her arm. The deputy arrived to find a broken window with blood on it. A woman answered the door and had a towel wrapped around her arm. She said she was locked out and broke the window to gain entry. She said she had an argument with her boyfriend and he locked her out, but would not identify him or give any more information. She was transported to SOIN Medical Center. Deputies checked the apartment for the male half and found in plain sight several different smoking devices with what appeared to be marijuana residue in them. All items were collected and submitted into property. At 5:01 deputies were again dispatched to this address for an argument between the two. A woman said that when she brought her sister home from the hospital, the sister’s boyfriend was there and began yelling at them. Both parties agreed that they would stay in separate parts of the home.

2:40 a.m. Traffic stop on N. Scott St. for a vehicle with no lights on. As the deputy approached the vehicle, she saw that the rear window had been broken out. He said that earlier in the evening, he had picked up a male friend and they were hanging out. He said that when he returned the friend to his home, the friend asked for money. He said he refused and the friend punched him in the face. He said that as he drove away, the friend threw a brick and shattered his rear window. A passenger confirmed his story. The deputy learned that the friend had an active warrant. Another warrant was issued against the friend for one count of assault and one count of criminal damaging.

9:45 a.m. To Lower Valley Pike for a report of a theft. A man reported that three political signs were removed from his front yard.

2:24 p.m. To Brubaker Dr. for a report of a theft. A woman reported that someone stole her Halloween decorations from in front of her home. She said that she has had issues with two neighbors lately.

4:34 p.m. To Galewood Dr. for a report of a found item. A man reported that he was working in his yard and found a black ankle monitor near his fence. He said that it does not appear to have been there very long. The Chief Probation Officer was notified and given the serial number.

10:57 p.m. To Weinland St. for a report of identity theft. A man reported receiving a letter from his insurance company asking if his ex-wife still lived with him. He said he believes that she is trying to get insurance using his information. He said the company would not give him specific details of the incident.

11:55 p.m. To Lower Valley Pike for a report of a burglary. A woman reported that she returned home from work and found her front door had been kicked in. She said that two TVs were missing and suspects an ex-boyfriend. She said that her father had set up a surveillance camera and would check with him when he returns from out of town.

Bethel Township

Thurs 9/29

12:52 p.m. An assault that had occurred at Bethel Middle School reported by parents. Deputy responded to residence to discuss an altercation that had occurred between their son and another male juvenile at school. The son advised the nurse that he didn’t feel well and was sent home after being evaluated. The next RP said his son was still experiencing head pain from the before and saw the nurse for a second time and was sent home again. The mom decided to take her son to the emergency room for evaluation. It was determined that the son suffered a concussion and a contusion on his back. When parents called the school they were advised a report had already been made. When the deputy spoke with the son he advised the incident had occurred on Sept 28 around lunch time. He stated a classmate was messing with the hoods on sweatshirts. He was pulled to the ground by his hood being over his eyes causing him to hit his head and possibly his back on the end of a bleacher. Deputy called juvenile probation who stated they were aware of the situation and the male juvenile was on probation. Deputy arrived at Bethel Middle School and was told the school was aware of the situation and the male juvenile had received a three suspension for his behavior. Deputy would be filing misdemeanor assault charges against the juvenile.

Sat 10/8

8:10 a.m. Criminal damage reported in the 4800 block of Rudy Road. Sometime overnight a mailbox had been struck by a vehicle.

Sun 10/9

7:11 a.m. Disturbance reported in the 5700 block of US Route 40. Deputy responded to Big Mike’s gas station and spoke with the RP. He stated he had a verbal argument with his girlfriend who lives with him. He asked that she move out of the residence when she became argumentative and threaten to call the police on him. He further stated he asked her why she would call the police and she stated she would think of a reason. The girlfriend also made threats to damage his property and personal belongings. The RP was advised in order to remove the girlfriend from the residence, he would have to evict her if she is unwilling to leave on her own. He was also advised he could attempt to apply for a protection order again the girlfriend for the threat she had made.

Mon 10/10

5:02 p.m. Theft not in progress reported in the 7200 block of S. State Route 202. Deputy was following up on a previously reported burglary at this residence and the victim reported the residence was entered again and more items were stolen.

Tues 10/11

4:53 p.m. Warrant arrest at the A and R Reck MHP, 4220 US Route 40. Deputy was serving court papers on another person when he came in contact with Jimmy Craft. It was discovered that Craft had an active warrant out of Clarke County. Craft was taken into custody and transported to the county line where he was turned over to a Deputy from Clarke County.

6:17 p.m. Warrant arrest at the A and R Reck MHP, 4220 US Route 40. Deputy attempted to serve a warrant on Renee Bristow but did not get an answer at the door. A few minutes later an SUV pulled up in front of the trailer and was occupied by a male and female. The female was identified as Renee Bristow and was taken into custody, transported to the county line and handed over to Clarke County Deputy.
