12:10 p.m. To Dille Rd. for a report of a domestic disturbance. A woman reported that she and her boyfriend were involved in a physical dispute. The boyfriend left before deputies arrived.

11:10 a.m. To Hyer St. for a report of a domestic disturbance.

Monday 4/24

8:27 p.m. To Forest Dr. for a report of people arguing outside. No further details were provided.

4:02 p.m. To W. National Rd. for a report of vandalism.

4:50 p.m. To N. Dayton-Lakeview Rd. for a report of a bad check. A man reported that he took a check that was returned NSF.

5:42 p.m. To Frayne Dr. for a report of a theft. A woman reported that someone took a lawn mower, an extension ladder and a tiller from her residence within the past few days.

Tuesday 4/25

10:36 a.m. To Hemlock Way. A woman called to report that her 6-year-old daughter is home alone and that the dog is attacking her. The custodial parent is the dad’s girlfriend. The RP advised that she witnessed scratches on the girl’s face when she Facetimed her. She is upset that the girl has been left alone and that she is not in school.

Wednesday 4/26

6:35 p.m. Traffic stop by the New Carlisle Post Office. The driver presented a California license. He was asked how long he lived here, and he said “I’m not going to lie. It’s been about a year.” He was found to be suspended and to have an outstanding warrant for two counts of driving under suspension. He was taken to the Clark County Jail for processing and was ordered into court.

Thursday 4/27

8:18 a.m. To N. Dayton-Lakeview Rd. for a report of found items. A man reported finding two garbage bags containing personal papers.

Thursday 4/20

11:55 p.m. Traffic stop for equipment violation in the area of Sullivan and Ross Roads. Deputy made contact with driver, identified as Matthew Timmerman, and noticed the smell of burnt marijuana and alcoholic beverage coming from inside the vehicle. Timmerman stated he had a beer at a friend’s house and was on his way home. Timmerman was asked and agreed to submit to a field sobriety test. He performed the test as instructed and was not found impaired. Timmerman stated there was a marijuana pipe in the center console of the vehicle. A probable cause search was performed on the vehicle and the pipe with burnt marijuana residue was located. Also located were two small multi-colored containers that contained hashish and a vaporizer, used to smoke the hashish. Timmerman was issued a citation for possession of Hashish, possession of drug paraphernalia and front license plate required.

Friday 4/21

9:20 a.m. Disturbance reported in the 5100 block of S. State Route 202. Deputy located a male walking on the shoulder of State Route 202 with a one-year old in is arms and a two-year old walking beside him. After investigation, the male was incarcerated at Miami County Jail for child endangering. The children were left with grandparents and Child Services was contacted.

4:12 p.m. Reckless driving complaint in the area of Dinsmore Drive and S. State Route 202. Deputy was dispatched on the report of a reckless driver who was falling asleep at the wheel and unable to maintain control of the vehicle. An update from dispatch advised the deputy the driver had done a u-turn in someone’s yard and struck a white car. The driver had gone to a residence in the 6700 block of Singer Road and parked behind this residence. Two officers from Huber Heights had responded and upon the deputy’s arrival they were speaking with a female. She appeared agitated and was unable to stay on topic during the conversation. She had admitted earlier to the HH officers that she is a recovering drug addict and had taken her prescribed suboxone. Deputy found damage on the vehicle but it was not limited to the area which would have been in contact with the white car. Due to the lack of complainant and no direct observation of driving behavior, no additional action was taken.

Monday 4/24

8:00 a.m. Abandoned vehicle reported in the 8700 block of S. Second Street. RP stated a car has been parked on the corner for five days. Deputy attempted to locate and contact current owner with no success. A towing company was contacted and removed the vehicle.
