October 31 12:25 a.m. – While on patrol on Gerlaugh Rd., deputy saw a white truck traveling at a high rate of speed and pass another vehicle on a double yellow line. Deputy tried to stop the truck with lights and with siren. Truck finally pulled into an apartment complex on Dayton-Lakeview and the driver fled and did not obey deputy’s commands to stop. Suspect was finally threatened with a taser and stopped. Suspect said he fled because he was intoxicated and scared. Suspect was found to have a suspended license and several empty beer bottles were found in the truck. He was charged with driving left of center, fleeing and eluding, OVI, drivng under suspension and open container and taken to the Clark County Jail. 1:19 a.m. – To Coachhill Dr. for a report of domestic violence. Woman reported that she was in a verbal argument with her boyfriend over financial issues and that he left for an unknown location. She said she called because she was tired of her boyfriend arguing with her. 4:00 p.m. – To New Carlisle Pike. Woman reported that she had an argument over the phone with her sister over the exchange of property. They were advised that this is a civil matter. 5:55 p.m. – To Daleridge Dr. for a report of an assault. Man reported that he had an argument with his uncle over property stored at the uncle’s home. Both agreed that they had pushed each other but neither had any injuries. Man asked that deputy stand by while he retrieved his property. 6:35 p.m. – To Cloverdale Rd. for a custody dispute. Man reported that his ex-wife was late returning his children from visitation. He asked that the incident be documented.
November 1 12:24 p.m. – To Sunset Dr., Medway, for a report of domestic violence. Man reported that he was in a verbal argument with his father and that his father hit him on the chin. Father denied assaulting the son. Son had no signs of assault and refused to sign a statement. 3:39 p.m. – To W. Union Rd. for a report of identity fraud. Man reported that someone opened a credit card in his name and charged nearly $11,000 on it. He suspects his ex-fiancee.
November 2 2:45 a.m. – To Weinland Dr. for a report of an accident. Driver struck a parked vehicle and left the scene. 8:44 a.m. – To Hartley Dr. for a report of an accident. Driver was traveling west on Hartley, turned to check on her child and struck a parked vehicle. She was charged with failure to control. 11:22 p.m. – To S. Tecumseh Rd. for report of an unruly juvenile. Woman reported that her juvenile son and daughter both left the residence without consent and probably went to a residence on Dayton-Lakeview. Deputy went to the residence, found the juveniles and told the resident that should she have further contact with the juveniles, she could be charged with contributing.
November 3 1:57 p.m. – To N. Hampton Rd. for a report of passing bad checks. Man reported that his daughter has taken several checks from his checkbook, forging her mother’s signature and cashing the checks. He said she got out of prison in January for the same thing.
November 4 11:09 a.m. – To W. National Rd. for a report of an accident. Driver pulled out of a driveway and struck the trailer of a vehicle traveling west on National Rd. Driver was cited for failure to yield right-of-way. 6:40 p.m. – To Frederick Pl. for a report of menacing. Man reported that a neighbor threatened to “tear up his cars” and “give his dogs poison pellets.” He said that previously the neighbor’s cats had entered his yard and were killed by his dogs. The neighbor denied making threats and was advised to stay away from the reportee.
November 5 6:15 p.m. – To Sinclair Ave. Man reported that he went to this address to pick up his son for visitation and no one was home. He said he wanted the incident documented. 9:20 p.m. – To Dayton Lakeview & National Rd. for a report of an accident. Vehicle northbound on Dayton-Lakeview ran a red light and struck a vehicle eastbound on National Rd. The northbound vehicle then went into the parking lot of the barn business and struck one of the barns causing damage to it. The northbound driver and her passenger were transported to Miami Valley. The northbound driver was charged with running a red light. 11:39 p.m. – To N. Church St. for a report of a fight. Deputy found a highly intoxicated juvenile lying on the ground. He was charged and released to his mother.
November 6 8:27 a.m. – To Lambers Dr. for a report of theft. Woman reported that someone took the temporary tag off of her vehicle. There are no suspects. 4:43 p.m. – To Sycamore St. for a report of domestic violence. Woman reported that she was in an argument with her brother about her kids. She said that he choked her and threw her against a wall, then told her kids to go get help. She said he then pushed her down, punched her and dragged her across the yard by her hair. She was transported to Community Hospital and neighbors signed statements. The brother, who has a lengthy criminal history, was charged with felony domestic violence and assault.
