Sunday, December 5

3:50 a.m. – To Ayers Pike for a report of domestic violence. Woman reported that her husband was intoxicated and was throwing things around the house. She said the argument started over her having a Facebook page.

8:52 a.m. – To New Carlisle Pike for a report of criminal damaging. Man reported that someone paintballed his house.

4:06 p.m. – To New Carlisle Pike for a report of criminal damaging. Woman reported that someone paintballed her home and three other buildings on her property. She has no suspects.

4:07 p.m. – To Bischoff Rd. for a report of an accident. Vehicle northbound on Bischoff Rd. went off the right side. The driver over-corrected and hit a fence. He was cited for failure to control.

5:50 p.m. – To S. Dayton-Lakeview Rd. for a welfare check. Woman reported that she feared that her boyfriend may cause harm to her uncle. Deputies discovered that he had already beat up on the reportee. She was transported to Miami Valley Hospital by Bethel Twp. EMS and the boyfriend was arrested for domestic violence.

9:04 p.m. – To Gerlaugh Rd. for a domestic argument. Woman reported that she had just gotten back together with her boyfriend and they got into an argument because each had seen other people while they were separated. Boyfriend admitted that he should not talk to his girlfriend about other people when he’s drinking.

9:30 p.m. – To S. Dayton-Lakeview Rd. for a report of theft. Woman reported that $50 was missing from the business’ cash drawer. She confronted a man who had been in and out of the business all evening, and his mother said that he had given her the money to return to the business.

Monday, December 6

8:45 a.m. – To N. Main St. for a report of criminal damaging. Man reported that overnight someone broke the glass out of the drivers window of his vehicle.

11:28 a.m. – To New Carlisle Pike for a report of criminal damaging. Woman reported that someone paintballed her house. She said that she heard a truck with a loud exhaust at about 2:00 a.m. and thought it had thrown rocks at her house.

3:48 p.m. – To S. Dayton-Lakeview Rd. for a child custody dispute. Man reported that he separated from his wife and he kept their children. He said that his wife called and told him that she was taking the children. He said that he was concerned over her drug use and that she has no home.

Tuesday, December 7

8:24 a.m. – To Lower Valley Pike & Osborn Rd. for a report of an accident. Vehicle eastbound on Lower Valley lost control on the snow, hit the guard rail and then spun around and hit it again.

11:48 a.m. – To Marquart Rd. for a report of possible identity theft. Man reported that he received a letter from the Post Office verifying his change of address to a New Jersey address. He also received a letter from a credit bureau advising that someone was trying to access his accounts. He requested that the incident be documented.

Wednesday, December 8

9:50 a.m. – To New Carlisle Pike & Tecumseh Rd. Two residents reported suspicious footprints in the snow around their vehicles. Both advised that nothing was missing.

2:40 p.m. – To Carlotta Circle for a report of theft. Man reported that the license plates had been removed from his vehicle.

6:15 p.m. – To N. Main St. for a child custody dispute. Man reported that he was to pick up his child, per court order, on N. Adams St. but the mother would not release the child. He was told that since she would not release the child, there was nothing they could do. He was advised that a report would be completed to document her refusal to release the child.

Thursday, December 9

10:00 a.m. – To the 200 block of W. Jefferson St. for a report of an accident. Driver westbound on Jefferson pulled off the street to the right, then back onto the roadway striking a vehicle passing her. She was charged with failure to yield.

1:11 p.m. – To W. Jefferson St. for a report of breaking & entering. Man reported that someone broke into his business and stole a sword. Nothing else was taken.

3:35 p.m. – To Weinland Dr. for a report of a domestic argument. Woman reported that she was in an argument with her son over a pile of dirty dishes in the sink. She said she told him that the next time he hit her he had better kill her, and she said the son responded that he would kill her. She signed a probable cause statement and the son was arrested for domestic violence and placed in the Clark County Jail.

8:50 p.m. – To W. National Rd. for a report of breaking & entering. Man reported that someone had broken into his barn earlier in the day and he thought they might return, so he spent the evening in his barn. He said he heard the door open and chased after the intruders and fired β€œa few rounds” from his .22 caliber handgun into the ground to further scare them. He said they did not take any property.

10:07 p.m. – To Beach Dr., Crystal Lakes, for a domestic dispute. Man reported that his live-in girlfriend was hiding his medication from him. The girlfriend denied taking the medication and stated that he had taken it. There were no assaults or threats.

Friday, December 10

1:20 a.m. – To S. Church St. for a report of an accident. Vehicle was northbound on S. Church Street, lost control and struck a parked vehicle forcing it into yet another parked vehicle. The driver fled the scene but was caught a short time later. The driver was intoxicated and suffered a cut under his right eye. The driver and his passenger were treated at local hospitals and released.

5:07 p.m. – To Wellington Ave., Medway, for a report of an unruly juvenile. Woman reported that she was in an argument with her granddaughter over her cell phone. She said the granddaughter left the home without permission.

11:36 p.m. – To N. Dayton-Lakeview Rd. for a report of an accident. Vehicle traveling north on Dayton-Lakeview lost control and left the roadway after a vehicle in front of him slowed down. The driver fled the scene but turned himself in an hour later. He was cited for OVI.

Saturday, December 11

4:09 a.m. – To Spinning Dr. for a report of theft. Woman reported that her vehicle was stolen. She said that she suspects her ex-boyfriend due to β€œpast issues that she has had with him.” Deputy searched several locations where she said the vehicle might be but did not find it.

10:10 a.m. – To North Hampton Rd. for a report of vandalism. Man reported that someone threw a rock at his mailbox breaking it. There are no suspects.

11:00 a.m. – To S. Dayton-Lakeview Rd. for a report of an accident. Driver at the drive-thru window missed the window and backed up striking another vehicle. He was cited for having an expired drivers license. He also stated that there was no insurance on the vehicle because he had just purchased it.
