Clark County has a wealth of history and the Davidson Interpretive Center (DIC) on Lower Valley Pike (Next to Lower Valley Furniture) gives visitors a look at the 1780 Battle of Pekewe. This battle brought George Rogers Clark into Ohio for the only battle of the Revolutionary War fought west of the Appalachians. His fight with the Shawnee opened the Northwest t\Territory for settlement. The DIC tells the story of this battle.

For years the DIC has been open Monday through Friday from 10 - 4, Now the DIC will be open from 1 - 5 on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month. Docents are on hand to explain the exhibits. Guests of the Clark County Park District are invited to learn more about Clark County history ad the man who named it.
