 The Athletic Department of Tecumseh High School would like to congratulate Kyle Furlong for being McDonald’s Student of the Week. Kyle is a senior at Tecumseh High School. He is the son of Kevin and Angela Furlong of New Carlisle. His current class load includes Electricity, English 12, Sports Literature, Psychology and Spanish 2.  Kyle has received several awards for golf: 1st Team CBC, 1st Team All Area, 1st Team All County in 2007; 1st Team All Area, 1st Team All County, 1st Team CBC and 2nd Junior Golf State Championships in 2008. This school year he broke the school 9-hole record by shooting 4 under par 32. The old record was 33 held by Frankie Moritz. Kyle also received an award in 2008 for Special Mention CBC in Baseball. He has been active in golf and baseball and is a student worker for Coach Ehlinger and Mrs. Short. Kyle plans to go to a good college for PGM (Professional Golf Management) and become a Golf Professional at a good country club.
